2017 Fall Schedule

Did you know that studies show that children who know a lot about their family history also score high for self esteem and feelings of control and capability?  Does your family have stories about mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunts and uncles… that will be lost unless someone writes them down?  Did you ever wish you knew how to get loved ones to share their memories or to capture your own in writing?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, join this class that will empower you with a variety of writing techniques to reveal the stories that make up your family portrait.  No previous writing experience is necessary.

Recent research by Harvard Business School found that reflection is the most important part of the learning process to improve performance and creative problem solving.  Yet entrepreneurs and other busy professionals may compromise with the recommendation to set time aside to reflect by focusing on other priorities.  Join the Roc POWER group to learn how to use journal writing to create the space you need for personal and professional reflection.
